The project is notable for the integration of KNX (which handles all lighting, shading, and climate control) with Crestron multiroom audio and user interface visualization.

A KNX weather station is also used to monitor temperature, ambient light levels, wind speed, and precipitation. This data is incorporated into the control logic for opening and closing the sliding doors.
